Graeme Hughes a former Hughes Jenkins’ director is to be officially appointed on 1 March, 2020, as the Senior Coroner for South Wales Central, which covers Rhondda Cynon Taf and surrounding areas.
The appointment of Mr Hughes, who takes over from his predecessor Andrew Barkley, has the consent of the Chief Coroner and Lord Chancellor. Mr Hughes took up the post of Acting Senior Coroner on 1 April, 2019.
Graeme, of Aberdare, was previously a founding partner of established law firm Hughes Jenkins Solicitors, with branches in both Aberdare and Blackwood.
